The air superiority value as far as I know if only important if land and naval battles take place so you should concentrate your aircrafts to achive air superiority in these regions.

The result is that when you have too few planes and their mission efficiency sucks, you can't gain air superiority over an air region because controlled provinces generate enough air superiority to ruin it for you. The end result is that my fighters are so superior to everyone's else that they regularly fight and win against 3 or 4 times their numbers.
With this setup I managed to shoot down ~4k enemy planes for the cost of ~2k of my planes. Light fighters on air superiority mission to kill enemy fighters and heavy fighters on interception mission so kill enemy bombers. Focus on building straight fighters, not heavy ones. Wow this is too much. So when playing germany I get totaly wasted in the air. the effectiveness of CAS depends of air superiority, if enemy has wings with mission "interception bomber" and if there any AA in bombed troops .
