Have you tried getting someone to press the deck down either side while you try the boot, if pressed down it might be enough to let the sensors permit you to open the boot. I know the audi did that i had before. no key hole I can see, I do not think it exists? Over a minute to close.

Is there not a roof reset ?? So it seems that it would be whatever mechinism that opens the cover, is what is causing the slow closure. Well, the WD40 worked once and now its back to being slow again! It's not up close but you can see as I walk past just how fast mine is closing. Cheers. Push down on the top of the rollover bars to move them back into the bar compartment. My E88 has a small issue with the small cover that goes over the c-pillar area when the roof is down. It does close but very slowly (RH side only, left is fine).
