Myself and a small group had previously tried this differently months ago and couldn't make it consistent. The DR, Malak, etc teams still seem gated by mods; not gear. If you're gearing up multiple characters on a team to g13 - and that team is losing to a team with g12 toons (not even maxed ones), you might be spending your g13 on the wrong team. With the rise of dark side droids I can see zIG88 being very plug and play now. I brought DR to G13 and honestly didn't see much of a difference. But still these right 12+ gear are so hard (and random to get). If you work through the teams like this it's easy to identify the key characters.
