Little late to the party, but I just tried the lion ramparts-sword flying trick to get to the Morgeth checkpoint chest. It will drop any of the armor pieces or weapons from that raid. Got them all from the solo chest, Got taken armanents from the chest opposite the broken Morgeth bridge last week, can confirm, I believe they can drop anything regardless if you’ve gotten it to drop or not. It has been patched a couple months back.
