By keeping with a muted color, you can have color on your wall, but it is not overpowering.
It looks nice and blue gray (what I'm going for) in our dining room but in the living room it's a bright turquoise/aqua color. They looked on the paint chip like the blue I was trying to achieve, but on my wall it just wasn’t giving me that serene look I was going for. You are discussing how "muted" the shade is .. no, just sliding down the card won't always do that.

Find the best Whites, Grays, Taupe, Yellows, Blues, Browns, Greens, Orange, Reds and more! Find a few colors that you like, pull out the paint chips and lay them down next to each other. It definitely looks blue when it’s on the walls (even more so in person).
Good idea if you love Ben’s colors but would have to go with out food for a couple days to pay for it haha.

Love all the images. Thanks again. i mixed 1/3 of each sample (measured with a scale for exact replicable measurements) and came out with a beautiful soft grayed green blue). You are so helpful. I have tried many brands and I find that many of them are great, but I have kids at home, and I feel that Benjamin Moore is the strongest one and I will be honest, I don’t like having to paint my house too often, and I want something that lasts, and that’s why I choose BM.
Don’t want stark and don’t want yellow. Living room was to be white...alabaster with tray ceiling trim same as kitchen.
